Mini Art Card-Basket Starfish Duo

What was drawn together, must stay together. Both of these pieces were inspired by a post made by my Aunt on Facebook. She had seen a creature called a Basket Starfish and tagged me because she knows I make trippy, weird, and creepy things. I had never heard of such things or seen them so it's design was truly fascinating! Best believe I gave myself a brief Animal Planet educational deep dive into what it was all about. Turns out there are about 196 different species of basket starfish and depending on how much FANNING is happening they will fall into Basket or Snake categories. POINT BEING the ocean is crazy complicated and fascinating and it's no wonder so much remains undocumented and unexplored! 

You come across one starfish and then there's like 196 different species of it. Imagine that for EVERYTHING down there! Absolutely wild! I myself do not foresee scuba diving entering my wheelhouse, so I will leave the diving to the professionals and the explorations to those more outdoorsy than myself. I will just keep drawing and appreciating the knowledge you all come back with!
