Knowledge- 5"x 7"

This is a piece I originally made back in 2014. I called it knowledge because I was capturing a story (with a touch of some Snow White shout out) I was raised with. Feeling like a monster because I wanted more information in my life. The gift of knowledge being the "Poisoned fruit" and the only option and out of reach because I wasn't allowed to know. I eventually allowed myself the knowledge and my life has been significantly better since! Ignorance is bliss...but knowledge is power and I feel strong and safe knowing I can make better choices and I no longer have to wait for answers. 

To this day I do my best to empower others around to ask questions, seek out knowledge, embrace the journey of learning, and to never let their minds be something others are in control of.
